ETC Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine was founded in 1998 by Janet and Jim Stone. As a physical therapist, Janet saw the increasing need for person-centered physical therapy services and began making this vision a reality.

Much has changed since ETC first opened its doors in Overland Park.  We now have nine locations throughout the metro in Missouri and Kansas, but our philosophy remains the same; to provide personalized, hands-on physical therapy services to our patients – the way it should be.

We believe our patients are more important than corporate profits and keep this belief at the forefront of everything we do. Our patients at ETC receive the highest level of professional care possible. All of our clinics employ only credentialed and licensed professionals – we do not use techs, personal trainers, or any non-licensed therapist.

Our high staff-to-patient ratio allows our therapists to evaluate, treat, and help the patients reach their goals at each session. We have focused on building the business based on our reputation with our patients, not high-dollar marketing tactics.
