Janet Stone, PT
Specialties: Spine, Orthopedics, Sports Injuries, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain, and TMJ Dysfunction.
Janet graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University in 1983 with a degree in Physical Therapy. She and her husband, Jim, opened Exercise Therapy Consultants in May of 1998, after seeing a need for personalized physical therapy in the Kansas City area.
Janet has spent most of her years as a physical therapist in the outpatient setting, with extensive training and experience in treating back and neck injuries, TMJ conditions, chronic pain, headaches and sports injuries. Janet is also certified by WorkHab to perform functional capacity evaluations. She is trained in therapeutic exercise, McKenzie’s technique, myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization, craniosacral therapy, strain/counter strain, muscle energy, spine mobilization and manipulation, extremity mobilization, neural mobilization, lumbar stabilization, PNF, and vestibular rehabilitation. She has taken numerous classes in advanced treatment techniques.
In her free time, Janet enjoys Zumba, weight training, cardiovascular exercise, playing the piano, and crocheting. She lives in Belton with her husband and their three dogs. Janet and Jim’s son, Matthew, recently graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a dual degree in aerospace and mechanical engineering. He now works for the government performing research and development on Naval aircraft.
Janda Stone, DPT
Specialties: Certified Spinal Manual Therapist (CSMT), Orthopedics, Aquatics, and Balance Progression.
Janda obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rockhurst University in 2007. During her Doctorate program, she completed extensive research on the shoulder joint and was published in the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy in 2008. Since graduating, she has practiced primarily in an outpatient setting with focus on orthopedics, balance, aquatic progression, and manual therapy. She earned her certification in 2012 as a Certified Spinal Manual Therapist (CSMT) from the International Spine and Pain Institute.
Janda knew at an early age she wanted to be a Physical Therapist. Being a caretaker comes naturally, as she grew up around several family members with disabilities. She has a strong passion to help others and optimize function. During free time, she enjoys listening to music, cooking out, jogging, playing tennis, and golf. She has resided in the KC area all her life, married her high school sweetheart, and has two young sons and a yellow lab.
Laura Kellerman, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Laura graduated from Baker University with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. She is also a graduate of MCC Penn Valley, where she graduated with her Associates Degree in Allied Health as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Laura enjoys working with all patient populations and helping them reach their goals with a combination of manual techniques and therapeutic exercises.
Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and son, she hopes to complete her first triathlon this year.
Jerry Ertz, DPT
Jerry graduated from South Dakota State University in 2011 with a degree in Health Education, and went on to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in May 2016. He has a passion for treating all types of injuries, especially when it comes to utilizing manual therapy and sports rehabilitation. He has obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is working on becoming a Certified Spinal Manual Therapist (CSMT).
Jerry is from Omaha, Nebraska, but has been living in Kansas City for the past 3 years.
In his free time, Jerry enjoys running, playing soccer, golfing and watching all types of sporting events. He is a big time Dallas Cowboys fan, as he has been to at least one game each year for the past 8 years.
Kacy Christensen, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Kacy joined the ETC Physical Therapy team in 2016 after graduating with an Associates of Applied Science degree from Concorde Career College in Kansas City. He is also a graduate from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance. With a background in dance, Kacy’s therapy interests include patient rehabilitation through movement. While enjoying treating all ages and diagnoses, Kacy has a special interest in dancer/performer rehabilitation.
Prior to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant, Kacy lived in New York City and traveled regionally working as a performer. He continues his passion for the performing arts as a freelance choreographer for theatrical productions and competitive high school show choir programs. Locally, he has choreographed productions at The Theatre in the Park and The White Theatre.
Matt has been with the ETC Physical Therapy family since February 2013. He has been learning and familiarizing himself with all of our clients across both state lines. His professional attitude along with his strong work ethic, make him the perfect addition to ETC. Along with being our representative at KU Hospital, Matt primarily services clinics and hospitals in the areas of North Kansas City, Parkville, Blue Springs and Olathe.
Matt has served with the Independence Fire Department for over 19 years on a truck and rescue company. A lot of his training in caring for patients and addressing their needs has helped him transition into a representative that is dedicated to helping our clients.
Matt enjoys vacationing and spending time with his son. As a member of the PTA for his son’s school, he chairs the public relations position and can be found volunteering at all of the special events. In his free time, he helps his father on his farm and is into fitness and weight training.

Michelle has worked at the Pleasant Hill location of ETC Physical Therapy since March of 2006. Among her many duties, she is in charge of the fitness facility, works as the front desk receptionist for the physical therapy department, and archives for the entire ETC Physical Therapy group. Her extensive knowledge of all things ETC creates an efficient and positive therapy experience.
As a lifetime resident of Pleasant Hill, Michelle can attest to the positive impression that corner of Kansas City provides. She is the proud mother of a teenage girl and a young son.

Savannah joined the ETC Family in 2017, We are excited to have her she is very service minded and enjoys seeing patients get better. She is the head coach of her daughters softball team and never misses her sons wrestling tournaments and football games. Savannah spends all of her extra time with her family and friends.
Kimberly Traylor, PTA

We welcome Kimberly to the team in 2017.Kimberly graduated from Cornell College in 2011 where she got her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. She received her Associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Penn Valley in 2017. She worked as a student Athletic Trainer for 3 years in college while playing softball, where her spark for Sports Medicine was born. 1 wrist, 1 elbow and 4 shoulder surgeries later she realized physical therapy was where she was meant to be. Although she cant continue to play, she spends her free time coaching a 14U competitive softball team. Outside of work and coaching she likes to spend her time cheering on the Oklahoma Sooner s and traveling whenever she gets the chance.

Tiaira has worked in the medical field for 5 years. She has worked front desk for small private clinics where she can take full advantage of the family felt environment. She loves interacting and helping patients enjoy their encounters with her. She goes above and beyond to ensure her patients are satisfied.
She enjoys spending time with her very large family. She spends most of her time outside of work watching sports, attending events, and spending quality time with her family. And she loves the Kansas City Chiefs. Go Chiefs!
Katy Lester, PTA
Katy Graduated from high school at St.Vincent DE Paul in 2012 with a small class of 4. She recently graduated from Penn Valleys PTA Program in May 2017. Katy became interested in Physical Therapy after a knee Injury she got during a game of Volley Ball. She still enjoys to play volleyball and loves to travel. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews (17 to be exact).

Grace was born and raised in Kansas City. After high school, she spent a year studying abroad in Sydney, Australia at Hillsong International Leadership College where she received a Certificate in Christian ministry. Within the last year, Grace decided to go to school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. She plans to enroll in the PTA program at MCC-Penn Valley and start in January 2017.
In her spare time, she loves to work out, make her house more of a home, and spend time with her husband, friends, and family.
Jennifer Mattson, MPT

Jennifer graduated with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in 2006. She has worked with ETC Physical Therapy since August of 2007. Prior to that, she worked in the inpatient rehabilitation department at North Kansas City Hospital. Jennifer’s primary location is the Lee’s Summit clinic, where she incorporates a combination of therapeutic and functional exercise with manual therapy techniques to meet each patient’s needs.
Before working in the physical therapy field, Jennifer was a competitive gymnastics coach and continues to enjoy working with young athletes. While she treats a wide variety of diagnoses, her passion is to treat those dealing with orthopedic injuries.
During her free time, Jennifer enjoys running, weight lifting, and baking. She lives with her husband, two children, and two dogs in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Brittney graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia and went on to get her PTA degree from Missouri Western State University. She likes to spend a lot of her time outdoors in her kayak and traveling around the USA. She owns two pugs and loves to take them anywhere she can.
Clayton Kellerman, PTA

Clayton graduated from Baker University, nestled in historic Baldwin City, Kansas, in 2008, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Biology. After graduating, he continued on with his education at Penn Valley, graduating in 2011 with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Clayton enjoys working in outpatient physical therapy, because it gives him the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people and diagnoses with different backgrounds and abilities, which allows him to learn something new every week.
Clayton enjoys working out, singing, and playing guitar, but mostly, loves spending time with his wife and son.
Megan Champion, PTA

Megan joined the ETC Physical Therapy team in March of 2014. She received her PTA License in July 2012 and has experience in skilled nursing, home health, hospital, and outpatient settings. Megan is excited to be a part of the ETC Physical Therapy family.
Megan and her husband, Thomas, just welcomed baby Caroline in December. Big sister, Gracie, is a big help and constant entertainment. They enjoy going to the lake and are looking forward to their first trip to Disney World. Throw in two ornery Shih Tzus and there is never a dull moment!
Julia Headley, DPT
Julia graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in biology/pre-physical therapy. She attended the University of Iowa where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2014. Before moving to Kansas City, she worked in an outpatient orthopedic clinic for 2 years in her hometown in Iowa. She joined the ETC team in April 2017 and enjoys working with a variety of patients with a special interest in orthopedics, geriatrics, and fall prevention. In her free time Julia enjoys baking and spending time outdoors running and hiking with her fiance.
Sam joined the ETC Physical Therapy family in January of 2008, and spends most of his time travelling to the many clinics and hospitals in the areas of Independence, Brookside, Lee’s Summit, and a small area of Overland Park. Through his traveling, he has been able to observe many different medical professionals’ specialized practices, and has learned a great deal about the needs and expectations of each. With his expertise and personable demeanor, ETC Physical Therapy has developed exceptional relationships with the many facilities in the Kansas City metro area.
Outside of his time spent at ETC, Sam serves as a Captain with the Kansas City Fire Department, with which he has been affiliated for 17 years. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his 6-year-old daughter, and playing golf.

Samantha joined the ETC Physical Therapy team in December 2016. Samantha obtained a degree from Concorde Career College in 2013 with an Associates of Applied Science degree. She continued her journey at medical practices working as a chiropractic assistant by taking xrays, assisting doctors with modalities, and carrying out exercise treatment. Samantha discovered she works better with order, critical thinking, and problem solving when it comes to insurance and office management. Samantha’s main hobbies include her chihuahua Hercules, cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.

Ashley has worked in the medical field since 2006, she has worked front desk, public relations, taken x-rays, and monitored patients’ therapy. She took the past 3 years off and managed her own wellness company assisting doctors nationwide to help patients work toward a healthier lifestyle. Ashley takes a lot of pride in her job and witnessing others improve their quality of life is what motivates her on a daily basis. She is thrilled to be back at it again and looking forward to her journey with ETC Physical Therapy.
Ashley enjoys quality family fun time with her husband Josh, 14-year-old Joseph, and 12-year-old Keegan. Most of her time outside of work is spent running between wrestling, baseball, track, and football events…and she wouldn’t have it any other way!
Director of Operations
Ken is one of the most recent additions to the ETC team bringing with him over four decades of sales and business development consulting. With a background ranging from general manager of Freedom Cycles, exotic reptile trade, running a startup company that grossed upwards of 28 million in a fiscal year, and managing a high end audio store, Ken brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to ETC. Ken has also played a large role in organizing charity events in the Kansas City area, such as “Bikers for Babies” and “Thunder in the Heartland”.
Amanda Cain, DPT
Specialties: Orthopedics and Manual Therapy.
Amanda received her Bachelors in Movement Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Evansville. She grew up in the Kansas City area and lived and worked in Las Vegas for four years before returning to Kansas City in 2013. She has worked her entire career in outpatient orthopedics, utilizing manual therapy techniques in combination with exercise and functional activity. Amanda enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses to keep her constantly growing and evolving her professional skill set.
Outside of the clinic, Amanda is busy with her husband, two little girls, and two dogs. She is an avid exercise lover and when the weather is right, loves being outside
Matt Almai, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Matt joined the ETC Physical Therapy family in 2012. He is a graduate of Metropolitan Community College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2012. His primary location is the Brookside clinic where he incorporates manual therapy techniques, as well as therapeutic exercises in order to help patients reach their goals for therapy. In his time with our team, he has gained experience in neuro rehab, acute orthopedic injuries, and neck and back pain.
Matt lives on the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri, and is a newlywed! In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and outdoor activities, including jogging, swimming, and biking.
Krista Schneider, DPT
Krista joined the ETC team in 2016 as our head therapist at the Belton Clinic. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Fort Hays University and completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Saint Mary. Krista enjoys working with all type of patients, but holds a special interest in geriatrics and orthopedics.
Outside of work, Krista tries to be outside as much as possible, either fishing, shooting, or riding ATVs.
Bradley Aubin, DPT
Brad received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2016. Prior to this, Brad went to Pittsburg State University where he received his Bachelors of Science in Biology. He originally required significant physical therapy during high school, and realized that becoming a physical therapist is what he wanted to do for a living. Brad enjoys working with all diagnoses, and has a passion for orthopedic, vestibular, and sports population.
Outside of work, Brad enjoys watching football and baseball games, as well as playing softball, sand volleyball, and weight lifting. He also enjoys spending time with his family and numerous nieces and nephews. He is originally from Lee’s Summit

Jay joined the ETC Physical Therapy team in 2015. He graduated from Rockhurst University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2015. While he treats a wide variety of diagnoses, his passion is to treat those dealing with orthopedic injuries.
During his free time, Jay enjoys participating in any sport, exercising, and watching KU basketball. He lives with his wife and two cats.
Mikelle Jones, Director of Administrative Service
Mikelle has worked in hospice administration for the past 14 years. Prior to that her experience ranges from Independent Insurance Agent to Employee Benefits Coordinator for a major hospital system. She hails from a small town in West Texas (45 years – you can hear it in my voice —yup). Her family moved to the Kansas City Area in 2014 and LOVES IT!! GO ROYALS!
Mikelle received her Associates Degree in 1994 in Computer Information Systems…and promptly jumped straight into the healthcare biz and never looked back. She is thrilled to be a part of the ETC Family.
Outside of the office, She loves to spend time with her husband and youngest son seeing the countryside and visiting local wineries and shops. When Mikelle does get time off she goes to see her oldest son and daughter-in-law and of course her beautiful granddaughter. We welcome her to the ETC Family!
Billing, Records, and Aging Manager
Christina began working for ETC Physical Therapy in March of 2008, specializing in administrative support, for which she handles all billing and insurance issues. While extraordinarily busy with the behind the scenes work of the clinic, she is sure to welcome all patients and provides a personable experience at our Business Office.
Christina has lived in the Kansas City area for most of her life. She has two grown children and in 2014, she married her best friend, Scott. They have four handsome grandsons and a beautiful granddaughter together.
Cody Hullman, DPT
Physical Therapist, Brookside
Cody grew up in a small town of 7,500 people called Pratt Kansas. He lived and worked on a farm and cattle ranch for 25 years. He received my Bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in Kinesiology/Pre-Physical Therapy, then progressed to Regis University in Denver Colorado to achieve my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. He grew to love orthopedic manual therapy in physical therapy school and decided to further my degree and complete Orthopedic clinical specialist Residency at the University of Wisconsin. Cody enjoy serving to the whole community with all patients ages ranging from six to geriatric age population. He specialize in manual therapy, spine, shoulder, sports prevention and recovery, lifting mechanics and programming, post-operative therapy, preventative and wellness programs, running analysis, and pain management therapy. He cares about the patient as a whole to achieve all their goals in life and not just physical therapy related. Cody is personable and likes to have a positive relationship with patients to inspire and challenge them to achieve the impossible.
Jon Andalikiewicz, DPT
Specialties: Geriatrics, Orthopedics, and Sports Injury.
Jon graduated from Rockhurst University in May 2013, where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Before moving to Kansas City, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. In Lawrence, he was a founding member of the KU strength club.
Jon has a passion for the geriatric, orthopedic, and sports population. He enjoys the outpatient setting where he is able to incorporate manual therapy skills, as well as proper body mechanisms for exercise and force production. He also enjoys getting to know each of his patients to improve their overall health and wellness.
Jon is currently working on becoming a Certified Spinal Manual Therapist (CSMT) and an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). He resides in Kansas City, Missouri.
Jacob Perry Taylor
Property Maintenance and Ranch Caretaker
Jacob grew up in Belton Missouri and moved to Des Moines for five years to go to school. He graduated from Drake University with a BS in Environmental Science and Biology. For ETC he spends most of his time maintaining and refurbishing the Stone Ranch Property. His free time is spent with friends and family and he enjoys traveling and taking spontaneous adventures the most.
